Stuck in my Head!!

     Ok, I know I probably shouldn't write the lyrics of a song on my blog, copyright or whatever, but this song has been stuck in my head, and I think it might pertain to me, too...  It's a song sung by the big hit British singer Adele, and when you read you'll understand why I love her music so much...  She has a way of taking your innermost feelings & making beautiful mosaics out of the different pieces of emotions.
      So, here ya go!

"Make You Feel my Love"
Written by Bob Dylan

When the rain is blowing in your face
And the whole world is on your case,
I could offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love.

When the evening shatters and the stars appear
And there is no one there to dry your tears,
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love.

I know you haven't made your mind up yet,
But I would never do you wrong.
I've known it from the moment that we met;
No doubt in my mind where you belong.

I'd go hungry I'd go black and blue;
I'd go crawling down the avenue.
Know there's nothing that I wouldn't do
To make you feel my love.

The storms raging on the rolling sea,
And on the highway of regret
The winds of change are blowing wild and free;
You ain't seen nothin' like me yet.

I could make you happy, make your dreams come true;
Nothing that I wouldn't do;
Go to the ends of the earth for you
To make you feel my love;
To make you feel my love.

     I just want to say: I DO NOT own this version or any other of this song.  I just wanted to share my thoughts with everbody.  All credit to the writer and producer, etc., etc., blah blah blah.

Wow!!

     Holy cow, I just noticed I hadn't posted anything in my blog for almost two years...  What could possibly be the point of having a blog, then?  It sure beats me... Anyway, I just wanted to say "Hi" and that I will try to write a lot more often!! Again, sorry, but I won't be gone for so long this time!! :)

Homemade Pizza

Hi Everyone!

I love pizza, just not the expensive kind. So my brother and I decided (at my mom's suggestion) to make our own for a quite smaller price. (The picture is my pizza.)

We had different herb plants including parsley and basil, so we were already set with that; we bought pizza sauce, tortillas, a block of mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni. We sprinkled olive oil on one side of a tortilla, laid that side face down on a cookie sheet so it wouldn't burn, then, with a spoon, spread some pizza sauce on the bare side of the tortilla. We then shredded some mozzarella cheese, sprinkled a healthy amount of it onto the sauce, and pressed it down very slightly. The pepperoni we bought was in large slices, so I tore two slices up and spread it around until it was mostly even, but my brother just laid the slices down on top.
After that, we cut the herbs up and dusted the top with them, then put the pizzas in the oven for 10-20 minutes at 450 degrees Fahrenheit. I said 10-20 minutes because I just judged how done they were by how much the cheese was melted.

The pizza wasn't very big. It may have been the size of any personal pizza you can buy at any restaurant, but it was better than every-day cold-cuts or peanut butter sandwiches. You may use this recipe if you want.

Merry Christmas!

Hi Everyone!

I can't wait for Christmas! This holiday will probably be the best so far this year, except for my wonderful birthday party in June. (Even though it really wasn't a holiday.) I didn't know what I wanted for Christmas (I didn't really even want anything) so I said wanted to visit my grandparents in Florida. Next thing I knew, my dad bought plane tickets for January! It's kind of a bitter-sweet feeling because it will be my first time on a plane - sweet! - but I'll have to go through those stupid body scanners - bitter. >=( But I'll get to see my dad's parents, my cousin, and a couple other people I haven't seen since I was maybe eight.
Also, my brother Lucas in the marines (not stationed in the middle east, thank God) is going to be able to come back home from December 22 - January 2! =) Double bonus for him, because it'll be Christmas & New Year's here instead of at some base doing who-knows-what, who-knows-where, who-knows-when.
But, one of the disappointments of this Christmas is that my oldest brother and his family aren't going to be anywhere near here. (They moved to Nevada last July because his wife's dad owned an apartment near Lake Tahoe - awesome! - and it would be a whole lot cheaper for them to live there than to pay rent every month for an apartment or buy a house.) They are probably going to spend their first christmas in their apartment together as a family.
All in all, this Christmas is going to be spectacular!
Have a good time, everyone!
